On January 15, 2025, at the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the CEO of Histar Technology was invited to participate in the award and partnership announcement ceremony for the National Geological Database (NGD) – Program 05: "Design and Implementation of the Data Model and Data Management." The ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia (His Excellency Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef), the Vice Minister for Mineral Resources (His Excellency Mr. Khalid Al-Mudaifer), and the CEO of the Saudi Geological Survey(His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Al-Shamrani).

This NGD project aims to standardize and integrate mineral resources data generated by partners and investors, ultimately creating and maintaining a comprehensiveNational Geological Database for the Saudi Geological Survey. Histar Technology, serving as the local platform, collaborates with Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia Co., Ltd., Xi’an Geological Survey Center of China Geological Survey (Northwest Geological Science and Technology Innovation Center), and the National Geological Library of China (Geoscience Documentation Center of CGS) to deliver this project. The project is expected to bring the following key benefits: Promote the development of mineral resources; Boost both local and foreign investments in KSA; Drive economic growth in Saudi Arabia’s mineral and geoscience sectors.

As stated in the official Twitter account of the Saudi Geological Survey, this announcement reflects an important step towards strengthening collaboration between local and international entities to develop the mining sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
